My Babies

I was making supper the other night and had Emalie sitting on the floor because she was getting fussy in her highchair, and oh she sits up all by herself!! and for a long period of time too. So Zachery sat down behind her and started playing, Natalie walks throught the kitchen and says, oh a train, choo, choo, and she sits down behind Zachery. I holler at Abbey to come real quick because they are in birth order, my babies is birth order, and I didn't pose them! I don't think that has EVER happened before! So here is one of my new favorite pictures of MY BABIES! Abbey will be 7 in May, Natalie is 4, Zachery is 2 and Emalie is almost 7 months!

Its March!

Okay let me just start by saying that March is my all time favorite month because it is my Birthday month. And so for all of March, I look forward to the 24th!!!!! But also it is Spring. I Love spring! I already have Naked Ladies and daffodils starting to come up, and I am starting to see the subtle hints of green grass (weeds) in my yard!!!! And the kids get to GO OUTSIDE!!!! Now on to the best part of my blog, the pictures:

Let me preface this picture by first saying the Zachery thinks he should be able to do ANYTHING that the big girls get to do. SO they got to be in tuts and dance ballet, he gets to do it too. He just had to improvise on the costume.

And Emalie is all smiles, but she can not wait until she gets to run around too.

OUTSIDE!! AES installed new playground equipment and the kids went to play on it on March 1st. It was a bit windy, but when does that ever stop kids from enjoying OUTSIDE!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture of Abbey and Natalie!!!

Zachery is such a little daredevil. Of course going down a big twirly side is fun!

Let's finish up February

I finally remembered how to upload lots of pictures in one blog, so be prepared to see many on this one. I had to put lots on here to finish up Febrary. Just wait til March!

I have come to the conclusion that right now Emalie gets most of the picts taken of her. So much for the last baby syndrome. One of her biggest fans is of course her big brother Zachery! They got to take their first bath together in February. He thought he was big stuff to help give her a bath. And I have created a monster! Now everytime she gets a bath, it is hard to keep him out. Boy does he love his little sister!
Natalie and her little sister. Natalie loves to hold Emalie, but you need to be ready, sometimes it doesn't last very long and you better be there to take Emalie, because when Natalie is done, she is DONE, and I mean NOW.

Miss Emalie is trying new foods all the time. This is her first biter bisquit. I think that I started to late on her foods, and that I overbought on stage 1, but she will just have to eat quickly to get to the thicker foods. She now eats 3 meals a day and still nurses, where has the time gone?

Just a 'Swingin' We had such a beautiful day towards the end of this month that the kids got to play outside. I love this picture of Zachery. He enjoys life SO MUCH. And he loves to swing!!

Big girl Emalie likes to swing too! This is one of her very first times in the swing. She wasn't to sure of it at first, but I think she is going to really like it!

For Abbey's special day she wanted to take a semi, I thought, okay she can take one of Zachery's toy semis. Well she had other ideas. Her Daddy brought one of Papa's semis for her special day. I think the class always looks forward to see what she is going to bring!
Her entire class got into the back of the semi-18 little kindergarten and 1st graders!

Saturday while Jeremey was out in the awful weather, we were playing inside. Emalie is now staying on her tummy more, and will even roll there from her back at will. Dare I say it but I think crawling may be on her horizon!!! So with her new found fondness for tummy time I thought it quite reasonable to take a couple picts of the kids.

I love this shot of Jeremey and Natalie. What a bond!

After church in Wakita, Jeremey asked if we wanted to go out to eat in Enid. YES! So we called Grandma Graves to she if she would join us for lunch. YES! The family treked on down to Enid, eat lunch, stopped by Attwoods, Lowes and then home. It was a great day. The kids were awesome in church, at lunch, and in the stores. We also enjoyed Grandma's company!

No. 77

Jeremey had a rough day on the farm. Rain, broken feed truck, MUD!!, and cold. But not as bad as the calf, No. 77. He was born on the day that it rained ice. Jeremey brought him home to try to warm him up. We are very sad to say that No. 77 didn't make it through the night.

Kansas Weather

Today it got up to a whopping 27 degrees and was very windy. Good thing the Tooth Fairy came the night before it got too cold. Abbey showed Jeremey her two dollars, "I got all this for just one little tooth." Too cute! The Tooth Fairy has adjusted for inflation over the last 25 years, I used to get 50 cents!

But with it being KS, yesterday was so nice, 60 degrees, still a bit windy but nice. We went outside to play, cousin Riley came over too. We are so blessed with such a great family!!

Miss Emalie just thought she was pretty big stuff being outside. She was taking it ALL in!!

Zachery is all boy! Here mom, have a stick! Or better yet, let me go around and hit the sidewalk with it to see if it breaks!
