Abbey's Element

Did you know that Abbey LOVES horses? Well in March we went to the farm to watch cattle being gathered and Uncle Dick had one of his horses out. Abbey could hardly wait to for me to stop the car before she asked if she could go see the horse! She is definately a horse girl. Just look at the smile a horse brings to her face! She even got to give Natalie a ride and Emalie got to try the saddle out too. And she even held the reigns while the horse munched on the grass! I love her so much! She makes my heart sing!

Easter 2008

We had such a great Easter. We host the dinner and egg hunt and I absolutely love it! We had about 45 people here this year. I am going to be a little selfish and not post all of the picts. You would be looking for hours. In my spare time (ha) I am going to make a scrapbook of all the picts everyone took!

Natalie and her loot. A funny story on her, she didn't like an egg she got, so when Riley wasn't looking she took an egg from her basket. Not to be called a thief, Natalie replaced it with one out her basket that she didn't care for so much!

Zachery loves Easter, it could just be for the candy or tandy as he calls it!

A Quick One

I know this is a bit out of order, but I could get these added pretty quick. Amber came down to the house during her spring break and Daddy was flying into the airport, so we raced to the airport, missed seeing his landing, but got to get in the plane anyway. Aunt Amber, aka Amby and my new favorite, aka Bamby (curtousey of Zachery) had not been in the plane yet so in she hopped, one day I think she may even fly in it! and picts were taken!

More Spring Break

I had to look to see where I left off on pictures. Looks like you get to hear/see about Branson. Let me just remind everyone that I live in a "box" my box is a VERY HAPPY and SAFE and PREDICTABLE place to live, just like I LIKE IT! My husband lives everywhere OUTSIDE my box and in a very unstructered way. So this is how spring break went down, I have break planned in my head, when were are leaving, where we are going, what days and what we are going to do. Sue, the kids and I were leaving on Tuesday, driving to Grand, going to Carthridge Wednesday, play around Grove and the lake on Thursday, home Friday. Good plan!!! SO Monday night, 9:30 Jeremey asks when I want to stay in Branson, Wed or Thurs night. I ask do I have to decide now? He said yes, I am on the phone making reservations. My plans fly out the window, stress and unpredictablity fly right in! Just the way Jeremey likes it! Sue, the kids adn I drive to the lake on Tuesday, Precious Moments Wednesday. Then we drive to Branson Thursday and stay the night, planned to go to Silver Dollar City, plans change quickly when we see the LONG line of cars waiting to get in, and it was a line MILES long. We eat at Cracker Barrell, and go ride the Ducks. They were so much fun, we got quackers, and pictures and got to see Table Rock Lake the highest it has been in decades, got to go in the lake, Seth, Zachery, Natalie and Riley drove the duck in the lake. Got to see the floodgates open on the lake. It was quite impressive! Then we went to the Boardwalk, they had a very cool, water/fire show and did window shopping. Then grabbed a quick bite and off to the hotel (next to a Starbucks) and went to sleep! We drove back to Grand Lake, got in the plane and came home. I tell you an hour flight sure beats a 4 hour drive. Sorry Sue! I did survive the week and had a good time, even if I was forced outside my box. I should learn that after (almost) 10 years of marriage with Jeremey he is not going to let me stay in my box very long.

Spring Break

Did you know that Jesus rose from the tomb in Missouri? We went to the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthridge and they have a tomb to symbolize Jesus' resurection. Natalie saw it and said, Look, Jesus' tomb! We are very blessed that our children know the story of Jesus!

Abbey looks like she is very deep in thought. She was so sweet, the chapel has lots of angels painted in it and she got very sad b/c some of the angels were children. She was sad for the children that had died and for their families. We are blessed to have such a caring child!

Happy Easter

Here is a teaser picture and a video from today. Once I make time to sleep, I will make time to add more stuff. We had a great day!Our Easter family. God has blessed us many times over!

My Babies

I was making supper the other night and had Emalie sitting on the floor because she was getting fussy in her highchair, and oh she sits up all by herself!! and for a long period of time too. So Zachery sat down behind her and started playing, Natalie walks throught the kitchen and says, oh a train, choo, choo, and she sits down behind Zachery. I holler at Abbey to come real quick because they are in birth order, my babies is birth order, and I didn't pose them! I don't think that has EVER happened before! So here is one of my new favorite pictures of MY BABIES! Abbey will be 7 in May, Natalie is 4, Zachery is 2 and Emalie is almost 7 months!

Its March!

Okay let me just start by saying that March is my all time favorite month because it is my Birthday month. And so for all of March, I look forward to the 24th!!!!! But also it is Spring. I Love spring! I already have Naked Ladies and daffodils starting to come up, and I am starting to see the subtle hints of green grass (weeds) in my yard!!!! And the kids get to GO OUTSIDE!!!! Now on to the best part of my blog, the pictures:

Let me preface this picture by first saying the Zachery thinks he should be able to do ANYTHING that the big girls get to do. SO they got to be in tuts and dance ballet, he gets to do it too. He just had to improvise on the costume.

And Emalie is all smiles, but she can not wait until she gets to run around too.

OUTSIDE!! AES installed new playground equipment and the kids went to play on it on March 1st. It was a bit windy, but when does that ever stop kids from enjoying OUTSIDE!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture of Abbey and Natalie!!!
